Popular Nozzle Spray Patterns for Industrial Water Blasting

Industrial water blasting, tube, pipe and/or duct cleaning applications typically require higher pressures, custom spray patterns, and fast delivery to the plant or jobsite.

Based on your specific spray pattern requirements we can custom drill your nozzle to match your equipment specifications which will result in optimized cleaning performance.

The Rotor Jet (RJ) nozzle can accommodate spray angle ranging from 90° for most side wall impact, to thrust angles down to 40° on the 1/4” & 3/8” NPT sizes and 30° on the 1/2” and 3/4" NPT sizes.

Two jets (with one spray angle), or four jets (with two spray angles) are possible.

SPRAY ANGLE OPTIONS FOR ROTARY JET NOZZLES

Rear jet angle are possible ranging from 35° to 60° in the groove. It is also possible to drill 90° side jets in the knurled area in the nose section. Forward jets can be drilled from 0° (straight ahead) up to 45°.

SPRAY ANGLE OPTIONS FOR JET NOSE NOZZLES

The 90° side jets deliver the most impact for side wall cleaning. This would be a two jet pattern.
Note: No propulsion on this nozzle.

Rear jet angle are possible ranging from 25° to 35° on the rear groove, and 35° to 55° on the forward groove. It’s possible to drill 90° side jets in the knurled area to the left of the forward groove. Forward jets can be drilled from 0° (straight ahead) up to 45°.

SIDE WALL CLEANER (On Rotary Jet)

SPRAY ANGLE OPTIONS FOR BUTTON NOSE NOZZLES

This pattern has 45° thrust angles for strong pulling and flushing power. Add a single forward jet to cut through blockages.

45° RAM (On Jet Nose Body)

The 60° side wall flusher delivers good side wall cleaning and flushing action with a small amount of thrusting / pulling power. This would be a two jet pattern.

SIDE WALL FLUSHER (On Rotary JET)

This pattern has 45° thrust angles for strong pulling and flushing power. with three 10° offset forward jets to clean side wall debris. This pattern is also useful for applications where it’s helpful to push debris forward.

This pattern has 45° thrust angles for strong pulling and flushing power. With a single offset forward jet to cut through side wall debris.
